It almost feels as though Sheila Gashumba’s petite flame and TheMith, born Tom Mayanja’s fat self stole the show as the duo put their stamp on the viral trend known as the Mannequin Challenge, along with Vuqa Cypher the cast and NTV the BEAT crew.
Appropriately set to the sounds of Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles,” the 25-second video snakes through a frozen set that includes Selector Jay getting touchy on on his phone while sipping a drink, TheMith improvising on a fake gangsta pose, the Vuqa boss Dj Bush Baby, Christian rapper Ruyonga, show co- host Douglas Lwanga just standing, Nelly-sade Saint and Natty Nathan looking mean as if Kifeesi-crew recruits, rejuvenated female rapper Keko and Deejay Bryan high-fiving, young rapper CODE spitting into a microphone, two cameramen clutching onto their machines and sexy Sheila Gashumba posing for a selfie. The whole thing culminates back to Selector Jay.
The Mannequin Challenge is here to stay, it seems.
