It is no secret that the patriarchs of the Ruparelia group Dr Sudhir Ruparelia and Rajiv Ruparelia know how best to reward themselves after working hard.

You will soon see these moguls cruising on two wheels around town with their new bikes.

The two have apparently added to their auto collection a 2020 Harley-Davidson FXDR 114, one Triumph Tiger 1200 XCA, two Triumph Thruxton RS and a Triumph Bonneville T100 Black motor bike.

Estimated figures based on the manufacturer’s website (Avid Auto Collectors) prices are estimated to have splashed more than USD83000 (Ugx 305million) on the five two legged beasts on the road.

Avid Auto Collectors also own a series of vintage and modern fleets

The moguls’ five motor bikes arrived in the country sometime last week but were received at the Ruparelia residence in Kololo on Thursday night following clearances and payments of unspecified duties, also believed to be in tens of thousands of dollars.

A Triumph Tiger 1200 XCA, according to the manufacturer is famed for being huge on technology as well as ergonomic and styling enhancements.

Its asking price according to the manufacturer’s website is USD 22000 (Ugx 81million) before shipping, insurance and taxes.

The 139 Horse power and 89 torque beast boasts of 6 riding models; road, rain, sport, off-road, off-road pro and rider redefined.

A Triumph Thruxton RS retails for USD 16200 (Ugx 60million) while a Triumph Bonneville T100 Black retails starting at USD10, 450 (Ugx 39million) before freight, insurance and taxes as well as any customisations and accessories.

A Harley-Davidson FXDR 114 according to the manufacturer website retails for USD18, 999 (Ugx 70million)

Triumph Motorcycles Ltd is the largest UK-owned motorcycle manufacturer, established in 1983 by John Bloor after the original company Triumph Engineering went into receivership.

They are the key partner’s key stunt scenes in the 25th James Bond movie dubbed ‘No Time to Die.’

The movie is set to premier this November in Paris, France. Triumph is the only motorcycle partner in the movie.
