Teso leaders have asked government to facilitate investors in Teso sub region to create employment opportunities.

The Teso members of parliament were announcing the second Teso sub region convention scheduled for Friday this week aimed at auditing government projects in this area and discussing on how they can continue developing the area.

MPs like Ngora county representative David Abala and Kumi Municipality MP Silas Aogon said their area is under developed hence the need for both local and foreign investors in the area to start investments that will revamp the economy.

They also called for meaningful funding of Teso ministry to facilitate development of the area.

The MPs also want Soroti Flying School be upgraded to international standards so it becomes an alternative to Entebbe International airport.
