A significant number of business minded people living in the diaspora especially in 1st world countries have observed the high demand of good quality or unique products in Uganda. This has led many people living abroad to return home with goods to sell as a side income. Resulting in one spending their entire holiday moving around in search for customers. This is cumbersome and difficult to find customers in a short space of time and hence the start-up of Bric-a-Brac Festival.
According to the organisers, Bric-a-Brac festival aims to promote quick sells, advertise and build a community spirit that brings us together in a fulfilled shopping event. A very important aspect of the event is to sell unique products and services and form networks.
They have confirmed 4 vendors from Europe and 2 from USA. Local vendors are also encouraged to participate as this boosts sales and promotes businesses.
The event will be held on the empty space at Forest Mall parking on 31st March 2018 and there is also a Qwela Band performs for music lovers.
