REMA in distress, Africana concert kicked away

Songstress Rema Namakula’s camp says her highly anticipated concert that was scheduled to take place on May 5th, 2017 at Hotel Africana is “not looking good” … insinuating negotiations with new venues are falling apart.

The ‘REMA LIVE IN CONCERT’ at Hotel Africana’s Peoples Space (outdoor) which she and fellow musicians have been hyping up for MONTHS — and it seemed everything was on track.

But Sarah Kibirige, a top boss in the hotel’s Marketing department, said in a statement that whoever wishes to hold an event at Hotel Africana from now on, should be organizing an indoor event.

Rema’s manager, Geoffrey Kayemba said it’s definitely NOT a done deal … but made it clear, “It ain’t their fault.”

Rema’s people say there’s still a chance it goes down and they are now working towards securing another venue for the concert and maintaining their concert date (May 5th).
Stay tuned …
