It’s that time of the year when ‘basummer’ return.

He is not exactly one but socialite and money bags Jack Pemba has spent a year away from home hustling on different continents the world.

We have learnt that he returns this Wednesday aboard an Air Tanzania plane. The social scene a little dull without Pemba and he is returning to add colour to the Kampala, the party capital of Africa, known for party after party.

Pemba will hit the ground running as posters are already circulating that he will throw a welcome party at Chez Boss Mutoto in Munyonyo with drinks and eats on him just a few hours after his return.

Apart from sports philanthropy, Pemba is known for bankrolling the social scene. In 2017, he boosted the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards with a whopping Shs100m. The several event organisers are glad he is back in town.
