‘No witnesses for Bryan White attempted murder case’

Hearing of the case involving a charge of attempted murder against city socialite Brian Kirumira aka Bryn White has failed to kick start today before Makindye Chief Magistrates court.

The case has stalled because the victim Victor Bitwire, who is the prosecution’s key witness, is still very weak and unable to attend court to testify.

Chief Magistrate Elias Kakooza has therefore adjourned the case to the 5th March 2018 after hearing from state prosecutor Jackline Akao that there were no other witnesses summoned in court.

Bryan White together with his body guard CPL Thomas Okoth who is attached to the police’s Crime Intelligence Headquarters are said to have shot at Bitwire on the night of 13th December 2018 at Bryn White’s residence in Buziga Munyonyo.

To date however, the duo’s motive  of attempting to take Bitwire’s life has never been established.
