Morgan Heritage promise Ugandans a thrilling show

Reggae lovers are in for a great and music-filled Easter weekend!

Gramps Morgan, Peetah Morgan, Mojo Morgan, Una Morgan and Nakamyah Morgan from the Morgan Heritage family will take to the stage at the Lugogo Cricket Oval on April 13 (tomorrow).

Two of  the Morgan Heritage stars have addressed the media today and later made an appearance at Kamwokya-based NBS TV.

“We’ve also heard that Ugandans love Reggae music the most in Africa. We’ll see about that tomorrow,” the Royal family of Reggae told the NBS TV trio Mc Kats, Dj Roja & Dj Mercy Pro on #NBSAfter.

“We are excited to perform in Uganda. We have always wanted to come to the Pearl if Africa and we are happy to finally be here.”

Tickets to the music concert are selling at Ush50,000 ($13.6), a VIP ticket will be Ush120,000 ($32.7) and a corporate table of 10 people at Ush3 million ($817.8).

The band boasts of at least 10 studio albums and global hits like Tell me How Come, Don’t Haffi Dread, Put It On Me and Unjust World, among others. The group won the Grammy award for Best Reggae Album for their 2015 outing of Strictly Roots.

Morgan Heritage are on a world tour to promote this new album.
