The President looks like everyone’s dad. Unless your dad dresses well.

Yoweri Museveni makes no secret of his wealth and cows, so you’d think he might (or his daughter Natasha) be able to find a suit that fits.
His trousers are too baggy or sometimes unironed his jackets are boxy (probably to hide his bulletproof vests), his ties are too yellow, wide and often too long, and his Nytil cotton shirts are too big and long.
Museveni is not the only politician guilty of wearing ill-fitting suits – across the Pearl of Africa, the political elite dress terribly. You know Dr. Philemon Mateke?
Is it deliberate that the President’s latest two youthful visitors at State House, in Entebbe, American rapper Ye, formerly Kanye West (age 41 years) and the Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali (age 42 years) have made efforts to spice up Museveni’s fashion as he clocks 75.
Ye, formerly Kanye West, currently on a private visit to Uganda, accompanied by his wife, Kim Kardashian, a television star handed the president a pair of white Adidas Yeezy sneakers.
Adidas Yeezy is the official collaboration sneaker by Kanye West and Adidas and it’s probably only partially deliberate the trendy gift will at least for one evening replace the oversized humble-pair of black shoes Mr. Museveni likes.
Of course, whilst appearing relatable, the President might consider matching the Adidas Yeezy with the colourful-fitting, jacket he recieved at Entebbe from the Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali almost four months ago.
Against all odds, President Museveni’s wardrobe is getting better.
