Kampala Restaurant Week winds down tonight

It has been eleven great days of fine dining and wining in the city of Kampala, but just like all great things there comes a time when the candle blows out.

That is the case this evening as the Kampala Restaurant Week comes to an end. The climax is at Kurb along Sturrock Road where an awards ceremony is being held to choose which has been the outstanding Restaurant during the fourth edition.

The Kampala Restaurant Week is an annual event where Restaurants across town come up with special signature dishes to be served during the duration of the campaign.

August 1, marked the start of this year’s edition and was spread over 40 restaurants. People have been voting online which is the best restaurant and why.

Eight lucky people also got to walk away with a 6 Kg Total Gas cylinder which was won during the Total Cook-offs. There have been Cook-offs revelers took part in a double cooking competition and were judged based on the taste, presentation and technique they used to make their meal.

The winner would then walk away with a free cylinder while the runner up would win a restaurant voucher.
