HAPPENING: Seby Ntege’s London band performing at Cayanne Bukoto
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

He left Busoga .. made the long journey to the United Kingdom .. hustled and conquered.

Not many back home know about singer songwriter Seby Ntege but for the multitude of Africans doing kyeyo and living, the Ugandan musician is celebrated for its great tradition of multi-instrumentalists.

The Ugandan artiste music is inspired by his recent collaborative work with the widely acclaimed and celebrated Gambian female Kora virtuoso Sona Jobarteh in whose band he played and toured internationally for two years.

Seby has also played at festivals both in the UK and Europe including playing live at Radio BBC Three at Womad in 2009.

The great news is that he is in Kampala and is playing live show at Cayenne Restaurant and Lounge in Bukoto tonight alongside Maddox Ssematimba, Maro, Micheal Kitenda, TWEKEMBE performers and his Seby’s closest friend Lucas Keen.

Where that’ll be…how you can get tickets…are all known, so in the earnest, head to the venue and get admitted at the entrance for Shs25,000 and Shs35,0000 in VIP.
