Embattled socialite Brian Kirumira aka Bryan White will spend the coming days in the notorious Nalufenya detention facility in Jinja District on the orders of Inspector General of Police Gen Kale Kayihura.

The Police chief personally ordered Mr. White be transferred from Kabalagala police division to enable investigations that’s he is part of a bigger racket that smuggles firemans into the country.

Following the shooting, the Inspector General of Police, Gen Kale Kayihura ordered for an audit of all police guns.

Kampala Metropolitan police commander, Frank Mwesigwa, said on Monday that the IGP received reports that the gun Bruyan White used to shoot his neighbour Victor Bitwire was not registered by any security agencies in Uganda.

“We checked the gun and it had no marks. It does not belong to any security group,” Mr. Mwesigwa said.
