The night is a tri-annual event that is celebrated in renowned urban centers. The aim of the event is to showcase the beauty and pride of Bafumbira community culture with a blend of urbanization especially in Kampala metropolis.
According to the association chairman, Edgar Niyimpa Mfite, the night is a must go event as it offers an opportunity for interaction among people of Bufumbira origin who resides, works, study in urban centers and with those others at the grassroots and more so with other people of different cultures, different communities and races.
Ayear down the line Bafumbira World grouping has grown in popularity and due to the increasing number of audience. The Ntinda venue where tonight’s gathering is happening has ample parking space and it’s spacious to host the soaring numbers of our audience.
There is something for everyone, the night will feature; Bafumbira traditional folk songs and dances, live performance from renowned Kisoro local artists, Samburu finger licking delicacies accompanied by urban type of entertainment music, soft and hard drinks, stand-up comedy, finest Djaying and many more.
The entrance is free on the D-Day though tickets for BW Dinner set for 27th December at Kisoro Tourist Hotel will be on sale for those who wish to attend.
