World Federation of Elite Martial Arts’ (WFM) Asian and Middle East president Sultan El Sayed will nolonger have any authority or rights to use the WFM name, the world body has decided.
WFM president Mike O’Brien’s indicated that the body had parted ways with El Sayed has also been backed by Africa Elite Martial Arts Federation president Jack Pemba.
“I support the decision because he has been causing so much trouble and collecting money without the World Federation consent. He has also been interfering in African affairs without my knowledge as African president,” Uganda’s Pemba who has been in office since January insisted.
Elsayed has consistently been doing work outside his jurisdiction, character that didn’t impress Pemba and other top WFM bosses.
“I support the decision because he has been causing so much trouble and collecting money without the World Federation consent. He has also been interfering in African affairs without my knowledge as African president,” stated Pemba who has a long history of sponsoring Ugandan sportsmen including Ivan Byekwaso, Patricia Apolot and Umar Ssemata among others.
The Sultan’s fate was revealed in Friday’s letter signed by WFM head O’Brien.
