World AIDS Day strikes a chord at Sudhir’s Victoria University

Victoria Towers, Plot 1-13 along Jinja Road has today awakened memory a great of musician the Late Philly Bongoley Lutaaya, in remembrance of those affected by HIV and AIDS.

Ms Charity Mbabazi Byarugaba, Marketing boss at city tycoon, Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia’s Victoria University Kampala is leading all staff and students in wearing the red ribbon as they mark and applaud the strides taken on the journey to eradication of AIDS besides ensuring many people stay free from HIV.

“We congratulate the government of Uganda and the team they work with that includes a number if development partners for the gains made in averting the number of new HIV infections and reduction of HIV/AIDS related deaths,” Ms Byarugaba told TheUgandan on Thursday.

“We are glad to be training nurses, public health specialists and midwives who also play a key role in care giving to people with HIV and also in educating communities on how to stay free from HIV,” she added.
