Proline vs Soana FC – Lugogo
Vipers will look to reduce on KCCA’s six point lead on top with a win against 12th placed Sadolin Paints fc in Bugembe.
Cutting the deficit may not come easily as the without the service of Erisa Ssekisambu who limped off and replaced by Bashir Mutanda during their last league game, a 1-0 victory against Kirinya Jinja SSS.
Vipers are still unbeaten on the road this season but have only won once in their 3 visits against Sadolin. Visitor’s coach, Abdullah Mubiru has a fully fit squad as Sirajje Ssentamu and Joseph Ssemujju may be recalled, with the latter on target as Vipers defeated Nkumba University 3-0 in their warm up friendly two days back prior to this fixture.
Did you know?
o It’s only KCCA that has scored more goals than Vipers this season!! Vipers on 14, KCCA on 20 goals.
o Only Kirinya Jinja SSS has scored the least goals than Sadolin paints, 5 only.
Elsewhere in the league, Mujib’s Proline will play host to visiting Soana at Phillip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo in a live game on Azam TV.
Proline FC has confirmed that 1st choice goalkeeper Saidi Keni and defender Savio Kabugo who missed out on the last full training held at Lugogo due to minor knocks will be available for selection as the duo have been passed fit by the club doctor Solomon Ndawula.
The hosts will need savior Kabugo fit at his best to keep out the attacking prowess of Soana whose wonder kid in Allan Kayiwa, 18, may tear them apart. Last season, Kayiwa netted 7 goals and he has so far scored two goals this season.
Both Soana and Proline have lost a game each and a defeat to the hosts may see the Kavumba based club climb way up to 2nd if Vipers fail to take care of Sadolin.
