Lwemiyaga County MP Theodore Ssekikubo has made headlines in the past few weeks over his engagement in the anti age-limit scuffles but his latest scandal will shock the nation.

Hon. Ssekikubo has been called a renowned land and woman grabber in the greater Masaka before the Commission of Inquiry into Land matters.

TheUgandan has learnt that 61-year old Crezensio Mukasa while appearing before the commission claimed the MP woed her by drilling her a well.

Mukasa is a resident of Lwemiyaga and owns about 2 square miles which he claims that the motormouth MP wants to grab from him after taking his wife.

“My Lord Hon Ssekikubo has been grabbing people’s land around Sembabule District and he forcefully established a farm on my land and brought people there whom whenever I approach them, they want to kill me moreover after taking my wife!,” a sobbing Mukasa said.

Mukasa has been battling with various individuals over the land and he has triumphed on three occasions in the Masaka High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court over ownership of the land.

Lwemiyaga County MP Theodore Ssekikubo has been accused of frustrating a court decision that granted possession of land in Sembabule to one Cresensio Mukasa Bagarukayo (pictured).

However, in defense the MP said that despite emerging the winner on three occasions in Court, the aging man does not own the land in question but rather using the loopholes in the legal system to take over the land.

Ssekikubo also added that Mukasa has forces behind him who are using him as a cover-up.

“My Lord I want to state that Sam Kutesa, Mr Muganga and one Keren Kayonga are the forces behind that man who are fronting him take illegally take over the which rightly belongs to Mzee Matia Kabagoma,” Ssekikubo narrated.

However, the commission faulted and wondered why the MP is involved when he is not party to the Court matters over the issue.

The commission was in Masaka investigating and inquiring into land matters in the district.

The commission chair Lady Justice Catherine Bamugemereire advised the MP to respect the court judgement and leave Mukasa enjoy his land peacefully if at all he (Ssekikubo) adheres to the national laws.

“The Masaka High Court judgement ruled that Mr Mukasa is the rightful owner of the land as well as the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court! If you adhere to the national law, I would advise you to leave Mr Mukasa enjoy his stay on the land,” Lady Justice Bamugemereire told Ssekikubo.
