The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) says it is to demolish all private road side sign posts that indicate the wrong distance to the advertised destinations.
Mr. Samuel Muhoozi, the director Roads and Bridges at UNRA says some companies that advertise by the road side indicate wrong the distances to particular destinations on their signposts.
He says this is very dangerous because it not only causes accidents but also confuse tourists.
He however says they will first engage the companies concerned before putting down the sign posts.
