Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) has signed a partnership with Uganda’s biggest online retail store Jumia Uganda to enable customers within Kampala to purchase Uganda Breweries spirits online.

Uganda Breweries now has an online platformonJumia Uganda through which they sell their wide range of spirits including Uganda Waragi, Johnnie Walker, Ciroc, Baileys at affordable prices.

The brewer is also offering customers 15 percent discount on Uganda Waragi, Johnnie Walker Black label, Red label and Baileys. The offer will run for 30 days.

According to Uganda Breweries Marketing Manager-Spirits, Edgar Birungi, the portal will provide UBL consumers a convenient way to purchase spirit brands at just a click of a button and have them delivered to their doorstep at no additional cost.

“Our customers no longer need to go through the hassle of traveling to stores to buy our products. The new portal will give them an opportunity to enjoy our wide variety of products via a convenient online shopping experience in the comfort of their living rooms and offices.”Birungi said.

How it works

The online portal is easy to navigate. The products are well placed on the Jumia site with the prices clearly indicated alongside. There is also a search bar to help one find the different products faster.

The app which is mobile friendly can also be downloaded from Googleplay store which is convenient as you don’t have to sit on a computer to shop.

After a purchase is completed online, the goods are delivered directly to the customer’s doorstep. Deliveries can be made between 8am and 6pm. Payment is made in cash or on mobile money once goods have been received.
