Number drops 47 in the previous graduation, held in June
Uganda Christian University has today held the third part of it’s seventeenth pass out.
Of the 1,593 students who graduated, 44 excelled with first class degrees. The number of graduands with first class has dropped from 47 in the previous graduation, held in June.
For one to be awarded a first class degree, they must have scored a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 4.40 out of the standard five points.
The ceremony took place at the Mukono Main Campus in the new recreation sports grounds.
The Guest of honor for the graduation ceremony was Dr. Os Guinness. An author and social critic, Dr. Os holds a B.D. (honors) from University of London and a D.Phil. from Oriel College, Oxford University.
