The newly appointed Uganda’s tourism Ambassador to Australia Jo Wigg has registered tremendous achievements in her short period of appointment with many Australians committing themselves to visiting Uganda to discover its tourism potential.

Since her appointment late January this year, Jo Wigg has spent most of her time speaking to families, organizations, companies and institutions about Uganda the pearl of Africa’s beautiful flora and fauna.

Tourism Minister Godfrey Kiwanda  with Jo Wigg recently after her appointment as Uganda’s Tourism ambassador Australia.

At the climax of the celebrations to mark the International Women’s day yesterday, Jo Wigg spoke at Casino View Club which promised to support her Australia-Uganda Natural Resources Initiative that has over the years been running sustainability projects in Africa.

Casino View Club supports children’s education programs across Australia through the Smith Family.

“It was an honor to be invited as Guest Speaker at their luncheon today (Wednesday). I am sure, the results will highly benefit our ongoing projects in Uganda with a likelihood of them visiting Uganda to tour the country’s tourism potential,” Jo Wigg said.
