The only English-themed standup comedy night in Uganda, Comedy Store Uganda’s final show of 2016 is on tonight, Thursday 15th. Its star-studded lineup is headlined by top musician Bobi Wine and returns to Diners Lounge, Bukoto for Kampala’s most exciting comedy night.
Last Thursday had the perfomance of the beautiful and prolific Winnie Nwangi. It was a staggering show featuring the funniest comedians include Bright Onak among others.
Tonight, resident compére Alex Muhangi returns to the helm bringing a show-stopping line-up of comedy oddities. Starring Amooti Omubalanguzi (star of Uganda’s most popular comedy outfit of all time, Amarula Family), a truly unique act, staggering silliness from Ombokolo and Uganda’s finest comedy export of recent times – Patrick Idringi Salvado, also starring Madrat and Chiko, an innovative sketch duo, like nothing you’ve ever seen.
Ssentongo Bruce Charles aka jaJJa Bruce also brings his unique talents of mimicking Luganda video jockey announcer Vj Jingo and will be proceeded by more of Uganda’s most recognized comedy characters Mc Kapale, Mc Mariach, Pablo Kimuli, Godi Godi, Nancy Kobusheshe and Kabaata.
