After being unveiled on Thursday as new head coach top South African side, Orlando Pirates Serbian born tactician Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has expressed his gratitude to former employers Uganda FA.
“I thank Uganda for giving me chance to gain more experience as a coach,” said the 47-year coach as he was unveiled in Johannesburg, South Africa.
“Coming back to this club after 10 years means a lot for me. I have been eager to return to club football and I am happy this dream has come true,” added Sredojevic who guided Uganda Cranes to the 2017 Total Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) terminated his contract with Uganda last Friday over unpaid wages amounting to UGX192 million (US$54,000).
