Over Shs500 million worth of Mobile Money and Airtime given out

Crown Beverages Limited (CBL), the bottler of soft drinks; Pepsi, Mirinda, Mountain Dew, Sting, and Nivana Water has so far rewarded its customerswith Mobile Money and Airtime worthUgx 500 million, in the ongoing  Tukonectinge with Pepsi consumer reward promotion.

The Tukonectinge promo that waslaunched early this yearhas seen the soft drinks company consumersparticipate and win grand prizes including 18 out of 25 Toyota Wish Cars, 17 out 24 fully paid trips to Dubai, 16 out of the 24 Fridges on top of the Airtime and Mobile Money given.

Now in its 9th week running, the 4 billion campaign is aimed at strengthening relations and reward Crown Beverages customers who have walked the journey with CBL for so long, remarked Mr. Isaac Sekasi, the Head of Marketing at CBL while launching the campaign.

“I received a call informingme that I was a potential lucky winner and was invited to attend the live TV show where a draw would be held. At the draw I was paired with Mr. Godfrey Ssebuma, another potential lucky winner who had also been invited to the show,” explained Mr. Bright Mukiibi, a resident of Rubaga, adding, “While at the live TV show on Sunday,Mr. Ssebumaand I paired by picking identical numbers after spinning the bottles which meant we had to try our luck by choosing the right box that contained the final prize.”

Thankfully, Mr. Ssebuma and Mr. Mukiibiagreed on abox to pick and after opening to it, to their amazement, it was a Toyota Wish Car.

In the past, Crown Beverages has rolled out successful promotions likeTwangula, Sala Puleesa, Chamuka, Motozela, Mirindarificamong others in which consumers have won cars and lots of other prizes. “This year’s promotion is aimed at deepening existing relationships and creating new ones across the country, through the Tukonectinge promo,” stated Ms. Hellen Kamisani, RubagaTerritory Sales Manager, Crown Beverages Limited.

“Yesterday we handed over the car to Mr.  Godfrey Ssebuma in Masaka, and today we are handing over another car to Mr. Bright Mukiibi, who paired with Godfrey during the live TV show,” she added.

Throughout the campaign, Pepsi will reward its consumers with a total of; 24 fully-paid trips to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, 25 Toyota Wish cars, 24 Home Fridges as well as instant mobile money cash and airtime in different quantities, among other prizes. The 25th car will be given to the participant with the highest SMS entries in the campaign added Ms. Hellen.

The campaign will run until the end of July, 2019.
