A section of Members of Parliament sitting on the Human Rights committee and former Buganda Kingdom Premier Dan Muliika have Wednesday afternoon visited Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine at Lubaga Hospital.
Led by the Committee Chairperson Jovah Kamateeka, MPs including Kampala Woman MP Nabilah Naggayi, Kilak South MP Gilbert Olanya, Bulamogi County MP Kenneth Luboga and others interacted with MP Kyagulanyi at the hospital in a closed meeting.
Kyagulanyi who is also a member of the Human Rights committee was on Monday night admitted at Lubaga Hospital immediately after the Gulu High Court granted him bail together with other 32 suspects who were arrested following chaos on the eve of the Arua Municipality by-election early this month.
During the arrest, Kyagulanyi sustained injuries reportedly out of torture meted on him by security operatives.
Speaking to journalists after the visit, Kamateeka declined to give details of Bobi Wine’s medical condition but reported that the MP was in pain and her committee was to make a report to Parliament next week on his condition.
