Queen’s Palace to host Best of Kenzo Concert this September

Just like it happens every year, Iganga Road based Queen’s Palace holds two major concerts a year; one in the middle of the year and the other is their anniversary that happens every end of year in December. Around this time, the extremely fast-growing hangout is set to have its mid-year concert.

For the mid-year concert, QP’s events management arm, Team Sula chose to host Edirisa Musuuza a.k.a. Eddy Kenzo in a Best of Kenzo concert and slated it for 10th September 2016. Eddy Kenzo is having his 2016 concert dubbed Eddy Kenzo Live in Concert at Serena Hotel and for his upcountry tours, he agreed to sell of his Eastern Concert to the persuasive and organised Team Sula at an undisclosed fee.

From what we gathered in a rushed interview with the Team Sula head at Queens Palace, many other artists are expected to join Kenzo at Queens Palace for the show though no names were mentioned. We can however reveal that one name was mentioned to us and that is supposed to be a surprise artist for the day. If you have attended any concerts at Queen’s Palace, you know that you have to anticipate this one.

The Ddagala and Disco Light star, Eddy Kenzo, has performed in Jinja before and has been to Queen’s Palace a number of times most recent being last year after his conquest at the BET Awards. Tickets bookings are already on; ordinary tickets go for 10K whereas 30K will get you a VIP ticket.
