President Yoweri Museveni has pledged government support to business communities at Bata Bata near Zana and the group that operates Premier Credit Microfinance along Namasuba Market stage.

The groups transact business in Najjanannkumbi in the outskirts of Kampala City, Makindye Division along the Kampala – Entebbe Highway.

The President, who made 2 stopovers in the Zana and Namasuba areas early this morning as he travelled to Kampala following his return home from the 2018 Commonwealth Heads of State and Government that took place in the British capital of London, addressed the communities about enterprise selection to root for improved income generating activities while operating in limited space especially for urban dwellers.

“I will send you one of the officials to visit your areas of business operation to assess how best the government can support you in groups of various enterprises,” the President said.

The President, who returned home from Britain this morning, was received on arrival at Entebbe International Airport this morning by Presidency Minister, Hon. Esther Mbayo, the Head of Civil Service, Mr. John Mitala, the Commander of the Air Force, Maj. Gen. Andrew Lutaaya, the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Mr. Andrew Sorowen and the Deputy Commissioner of Prisons, Mr. Andrew Mwanje.
