The Police in Kampala have busted a racket where alleged Makerere University living in Kikoni area were found in possession of an illegal gun.
Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Emillian Kayima said that the suspects were busted and arrested after a tip.
“We have the suspects with us here at Wandegeya police station, ” Kayima who refused to divulge further said.
He said that they suspect the gang involves many students who never went home during the time the university was closed and all of them will be picked up one by one, “
