The picture that allegedly brought trouble to the singerLocal Kadongokamu artist Kazibwe Kapo was yesterday grilled by police at Katwe over a picture  in which the singer posed with a gun and posted it on his Facebook page.

The musician is set to hold a music concert.

Mr Kazibwe was interrogated by Kampala Metropolitan South Regional Police Commander, Geoffrey Kaheebwa, after seeing posters of him holding a gun pinned on streets.

Mr Emilian Kayima, the Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, said the singer was summoned to explain the source of the gun he was posing with on his Facebook page.
“We want to understand whether he owns the weapon or he hired it from someone,” Mr Kayima told theugandan.
The government through security agencies has always warned civilians against posing in army attire and holding weapons without proper authorization.

However, Mr Kazibwe has an album launch on February 24, 2017 titled Tuzze Emundu ku Ggomboloola literally translated as let’s take guns back to the Subcounty may not have heard about the warning.
He probably wanted a matching picture since he sung about guns.
Nevertheless, he uses the words gun figuratively as the song talks about cheating men and encourages them to stop the habit.
When contacted after being quizzed the Kadongokamu singer narrated that the photo in which he was photographed holding a gun was taken at a studio in Kampala and that the gun belonged to a friend of his who works as a security guard.

Mr Kazibwe who claims that his song; Tuzze Emundu ku Ggomboloola has enjoyed alot of airplay on local radios and televisions added that he took advantage of an excited guard who gave him the gun for a quick photoshoot that took seconds.

Mr Kazibwe said he did not know that those seconds would land him in trouble.
The singer was released on bond and asked to report back to police on Tuesday for further interrogation as police investigates the truthfulness in his story.
