Another journalist has been arrested barely a week after the mysterious disappearance of a New Vision Journalist under mysterious circumstances.
Richard Kasule a journalist working for Top Radio was this morning arrested by police officers.
Police Spokesperson Emilian Kayima says the journalist was apprehended over defamation charges.
Meanwhile, Mr Charles Etukuri, a New Vision reporter who was reportedly abducted last Tuesday by unknown men in army camouflage as he left office at the Vision Group on First Street, Industrial Area has been released.
The Vision group boss, Mr Robert Kabushenga said on Monday that Mr Etukuri had been dropped outside the company offices.
“Thank you all for your prayers. God has answered them. Our New Vision reporter Charles Etukuri has been released. He has just been dropped off outside our office,” tweeted Mr Kabushenga.
