Five traders from Nasser road have been arrested by Kampala Metropolitan South police commander Siraje Bakaleke, during an early morning strike over power outage.
The development was confirmed by Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Emilian Kayima.
The Thursday morning strike was reportedly over electricity, which has not been on since morning and the whole of Wednesday.
The irate traders placed barricades and burned old tyres on the road.
