Coca Cola Beverages Africa – Uganda on Monday announced its appointment of renowned communications and advertising expert Simon Kaheru, as Public Relations and Communications Director.
Mr. Kaheru who has over 25 years of experience in the media, public and corporate communications, reputation management as partnership building, most recently served as Board Chairman of Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC).
In his new role on Coca Cola’s country management team, Mr. Kaheru will provide requisite professional competences to bear in sustaining the brands on the stable of Coca-Cola Uganda as well managing and implementing the company’s corporate, public and media relations strategies.
He also will assist the company’s separate divisions with their PR strategies.
Kaheru is the Chairman of the ICTAU, or ICT Association of Uganda and before his new role has been a lead analyst at a media company, Media Analys as well as a director at SMS Media.
