The UPDF army officer in charge Operation Wealth Creation has survived being lynched by angry resident in Amuria District after he was found having sexual intercourse with a woman he was supposed to sensitize about President Museveni’s beloved programmes.

Major Enos Okiror who is in charge of OWC in Wera Sub County in Amuria was caught redhanded having sex with Mr.  Okiror Obawa’s wife. Obawa then made an alarm that attracted residents to go see what had happened to him.

The residents who had responded with sticks and pangas then thumped the adulterous army officer who left the scene cursing his insatiable sexual appetite.

The 3rd Division army spokesperson, Capt Isaac Okware, who identified the critically injured officer said that he was being admitted at Wera Health Center III, after he sustained cuts on his head from the angry locals’ beatings.

Mr Oware condemned the officer’s act as scandalous but asked residents to always report such issues to the authorities.

He added that the officer who abandoned his job to engage in disgraceful acts will face disciplinary action upon recovery.

Capt Okware however advised the affected family to remain calm, resolve the marital issues and build their home.
