Old Kampala Police Station battled with members of Human Rights Awareness and Promotion Forum who stormed the police station asking for a report on the rampant break-ins at their office.

Civil society organization, Human Rights Awareness and Promotion Forum (HRAPF) has expressed concern over the rampant break-ins at their offices.

Last week, unidentified individuals broke into HRAPF offices and assaulted the security guards with iron bars and batons leaving them in critical condition.

This is the second time HRAPF has been attacked, the first attack took place on the 22nd of May 2016 wherein a security guard Mr. Emmanuel Arithura was brutally murdered.

Speaking during a press conference at their office last week, Adrian Jjuuko the HRAPF executive director said they are not going to tolerate such acts and threatened that beginning Monday this week, they are to storm old Kampala police station until they get answers as to why their offices are being attacked without any report being released.

Earlier on Monday the Executive Director Adrian Jukko is in a closed door meeting with RPC Frank Mwesigwa to come to an amicable solution to the situation at hand.
