Ochan starting for Kasasiro Boys in first match since last season

KCCA goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan is back in the Ugandan league champions’ starting X1, three days since watching from the bench as Charles Lukwago made save after save in the opening game of the 2017/2018 Azam Uganda Premier League against Maroons.

The second captain behind Denis Okot and Habib Kavuma has been away on international duty since recovering from a shoulder injury in August.

And in his absentia, it was Lukwago who handled the team’s mantle in goal in all the preseason friendlies KCCA FC took part, but there will be a change as the team head to Bombo to play UPDF, the Lugogo club’s website stated.

KCCA FC take on UPDF away in Bombo in the second game of the league searching for their first win against drawing the opening game Maroons 0-0 at in Lugogo.

At St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende, Vipers assistant coach Edward Golola says the game against Bul is a must win after faltering against Bright Stars on day one.

At Kavumba, Bright Stars start life minus banned coach Fred Kajoba with a game against longtime rivals Soana.

On Saturday, champions KCCA visit UPDF, SC Villa will be away to log leaders Police, URA visit Kirinya Jinja SS whilst Mbarara City host Express FC.

In other games on Saturday, Proline are at home to new entrants Masavu and in Luzira, Maroons host Onduparaka.
