Four-time league champions URA sit fifth while troubled Police are 15th on the 16-team log
Head coach Kefa Kisela has an almost fit squad and said his Uganda Revenue Authority side have “no excuses” not to thump bottom placed Police.
Former champions URA will entertain Police at the Mehta Stadium in Lugazi in the Uganda Premier League as they look continue with their good form.
Having started the season poorly, the two back-to-back wins over Onduparaka and The Saints will have great company with a further victory today.
“As a team we would like to do better than last season,” he said. “I must acknowledge we started the season poorly but the momentum is now picking up and this Police game is a must win.
“Ofcourse I have told other journalists who called me early, my team can not by any chance undermine Police though we know how to beat them. Today and this season we don’t have any excuses to try and not challenge for any trophy.”
URA has only Hood Mulikyi (suspended) and Mathias Muwanga (injured) out of the match day squad while Police are compounded by glitches after their coach Sam Timbe reportedly threw in the towel over a poor run of results and lack of motivation.
Police are languishing at the bottom of the UPL log in 15th place but URA in 5th place will look to enter the top four with a win today.
