Arua Municipality MP, Ibrahim Abiringa is wearing an ear-to-ear smile after his boss, President Museveni gifted him with Shs24 million for his fierce promotion of the NRM party colour-yellow.
Abiringa, now commonly called the ‘Yellow Clown’ was a fortnight ago reportedly telephoned by a State House official who informed him that the party chairman was pleased by his campaign and the money wired to Abiringa’s ‘dry’ Housing Finance Bank account was meant to purchase a Vox Wagon for him. A source reveals that Abiringa o receiving the good news immediately withdrew Shs12 million and hit three car bonds but none had the car of his preference while he was advised to buy the car online for Shs18m and be sure to cruise Kampala streets in a few weeks.
Retired army officer Abiringa who is still driving a UPDF green Corona has given the car bond owner strict orders for the car to be yellow both on the inside and outside plus the tyres.
