Museveni in Nairobi visit amidst Age Limit pressure

While President Yoweri Museveni’s ruling party NRM battles opposition in a bid to have the Age Limit legislation passed before Christmas, the Head of State has arrived in the Kenyan Capital Nairobi for a two-day official visit at the invitation of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The President was received this morning at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by Ambassador Dr. Amina Mohammed the Cabinet Secretary and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kenya.

Others to receive the President included Amb. Dr. Monica Juma the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms Phibby Otaala Ugandan Ambassador to Kenya, the Uganda’s Permanent Secretary Ministry of Foreign Affairs Amb. Patrick Mugoya and Major-General (Rtd) Geoffrey Okanga.

During the visit, the two leaders are scheduled to hold tete a tete discussion before leading their repective delegations to a bilateral meeting. Later, President of Kenya H.E Uhuru Kenyatta will host his guest to a luncheon at State House Nairobi.
