On day two of his 96-hour tour of Luweero Triangle, President Museveni interacted and shared poverty eradication tips with families that helped him during NRA’s five-year war to capture state power from 1980-86.
Before beginning the camp on Saturday, Museveni addressed a rally at Kikunyu, Makulubita Sub County where he swore to use all the means before him to Make Luwero look like Mecca and Rome.
He later launched a wealth creation drive for Luweero region at Kikunyu Primary School Grounds in Makulubita Sub-county, Katikamu North, Luweero District.

On Sunday, Museveni visited homesteads in Kawumu village, Luweero District to assess progress of Operation Wealth Creation.
He noted that because of the role Luwero played in liberating Uganda, people from other parts of the country should be looking at the district as a model where poverty has been fought and totally eliminated.
Museveni said he will also set up a model farm at his new home in Luwero where he will use local means of irrigation to show local farmers how to take advantage of water sources in the area to irrigate crops and earn a living.
The President revealed that he intends to buy a bicycle which he will ride to fetch water from the river for irrigating his crops. He said the bicycle will also help him monitor government programmes.
