IT’S ONE THING FOR OLDER divorced or long widowed women to undergo a caesarean section but for Ms Annet Kaweesi, the widow to the slain Police spokesperson Andrew Felix Kaweesi, it’s a trying moment.
Annet, who has three children already with the slain Police officer has said she will undergo the knife in Kampala on Wednesday, a day after his burial in Kitwekyanjovu, Kyazanga, Lwengo District.
Speaking at Kaweesi’s requiem mass at Lubaga Cathedral, her brother Anthony Ssemuli told mourners that the operation was already scheduled to take place by the time her husband was killed.
“On Wednesday, my sister Annet is undergoing an operation so you can see the challenges we are going through as a family,” Mr Semuli said.
The young widow, who was unable to speak, last underwent C-section in 2012.
