Muhwezi takes over MUBS Principal

Prof. Moses Muhwezi is the acting Principal Makerere University Business School – MUBS following the expiry of the contract of Prof. Waswa Balunywa.

Prof. Balunywa’s contract expired on May 27, 2018 after serving as MUBS principal since 2003.

The MUBS council resolved to appoint Prof. Moses Muhwezi acting principal in an emergency meeting held at the university campus in Nakawa.

The MUBS University council secretary, Francis Yosa announced Prof. Muhwezi’s appointment in an email released to staff this evening.

“Council at its Emergency Meeting held today Monday, May 28, 2018 resolved to appoint Prof. Moses Muhwezi as Acting Principal with immediate effect until such a time when the Education Service Commission appoints a substantive Principal for MUBS,” Yosa said.

Prof. Muhwezi has been the MUBS Deputy Principal. He has also served at the Dean at the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Business Administration since 1995 at MUBS.
