And the Ntinda-based sound engineer cum producer is positive there will be full of laughter at a downtown Miami Luxury Hotel, USA, the venue for the 29th Uganda North America Association convention from Sept 1-3 2017.
Including his audience spontaneously in his performance is an essential part of his shows, Muhangi said. Headlining alongside Winnie Nwangi and Radio&Weasal, Muhangi will perform new material revolving around the political and social drama back home in Kampala.
Muhangi told TheUgandan on Thursday, “You know I am an observational comedian. When I get to a new place, I take the city in, watch how people act and react, pay attention to them and I start asking questions. I take that inspiration and use it for my shows. On stage, I improvise a lot and talk about the things that I have noticed in that particular city or country. It is hilarious to my audience to see how I perceive their day to day life. Luckily enough, I will not have to do all that at UNAA Maimi 2017 because my audience is mostly Ugandans, people who miss home and only read about it social media. I have done that all the times I get the chance to people in the USA.”
