Uganda Cranes B will be desperate to get their campaign up and running when they lock horns with Group B’s second placed Nambia in a 2018 African Nations Championship (Chan), showdown at the the Grand Stade Marrakech at 7.30pm Local time (10.30pm EAST).

Having stood firm for most of their clash against Zambia in the opening game of this year’s tournament, Sebestien Desabre’s team would ultimately suffer a disappointing 3-1defeat at the very same venue this past weekend.

And the Frenchman has cautioned his players not to relax. “Nothing is impossible in football. I believe you all know what is expected of us on Thursday,” Sebastien told his players in Marrakesh.

Uganda must beat earn positive results against Namibia and Ivory Coast to reach the quarter finals and Desabre says his players know what is demanded of them.

But Uganda will have to do without striker Shaban Mohammed who suffered what appeared an innocuous knock in training on Monday but has failed to recover in time for tonight’s must-win game.
