Micho Names 32 Man Squad to Thump Comoros

AFCON 2017 Qualifier: Uganda Vs Comoros – Sun, 4th September 2016 5pm

Uganda Cranes coach Micho Sredojevic has today named a 32man squad that will take on Comoros in their final Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match on September 4   at Mandela National stadium, Namboole.

The team is set to start training as soon as possible, and the best 23 players will be selected for the final touches of training in preparation for the match.

Uganda is seeking to win against Comoros for it to top Group D in which it is the second with 10 points behind Burkina Faso which also has 10 points.

A win against Comoros will automatically grant Uganda a spot in forthcoming African cup of nations.

The group leader directly qualifies, and the best two runners up from all groups also qualify.

Uganda Cranes squad;

There are 16 professionals and 16 locally based players. Official training starts on Thursday at Paradise Fitness Gym, Accacia Mall.

Dennis Onyango (Mamelodi Sundowns, South Africa), Salim Jamal Magoola (El Merriekh, Sudan), Benjamin Ochan (KCCA, Uganda), Ismail Watenga (Vipers, Uganda)
