In a shocking conspiracy, the chairperson of the Pornography Control Committee, Dr Annette Kezaabu Kasimbazi, has said there could be a link between the recent spate of murders of women in Entebbe and pornography.
While opening the first stakeholder meeting organised by Pornography Control Committee at Hotel Africana in Kampala, Kezaabu, who is also the Kampala International University deputy vice chancellor for academic affairs argued that pornography addicts are sadists and sadism drives them into acts such as rape and murder as witnessed in Entebbe.
She said there have also been media reports that the key suspect in the Nansana murders was fond of buying sex workers.
Referring to scientific findings, Kezaabu said men watching pornography have higher tendencies of abnormal sexual behaviour since they always desire to practice what they watch in movies on women.
This comes weeks after the minister of Internal Affairs Jeje Odongo said A religious sect, Illuminati is behind the murders in Wakiso District.
