Ruparelia Foundation has fulfilled the pledge they made in December last year to sponsor Faith Nanyanzi aka Felista Di Superstar to achieve her education dreams at Kampala Parents’ School (KPS) on a full scholarship.
The Ruparelia Foundation Managing Director Rajiv Ruparelia unveiled the enrolment of Felista Di Superstar before members of the press and other entertainers in the music industry. Felista Di Superstar, only seven years old, was accompanied by her mother and father Nyanzi Michael Kasibante.
Felista joins young musician Patrick Ssenyonjo known by his stage name Fresh Kid who got a scholarship from the Ruparelia Foundation in May 2019 to study at Kampala Parents’ School. Fresh Kid and his father were present at the unveiling of Felista.
Rajiv said he was compelled to support Felista because of her exceptional talent despite being only seven years old. He added that Felista was joining a model school which creates more opportunities, thus advised her to participate in all co-curricular activities.
“I would love to see her become a guide and inspiration to many young people out there hence, Ruparelia Foundation is presenting this young girl with a full scholarship from the Ruparelia Foundation to go to Kampala Parents’ School,” Rajiv said.
“Education is not about learning in the book, education is about learning about life skills that will help you live in the future; that will help you when you are old.
“We shall ensure you learn how to be confident and we shall make sure that all we offer you help grow your music career,” Rajiv added.
He advised Felista’s parents to save the money they were going to use to pay her fees at her previous and use it to pay for her secondary education.
