Sky taking on KAVC is one game a handful of fans who turned up at the Indoor stadium in Lugogo expected to give them something to talk about as they retired for the day.

Unfortunately for them, one team failed to turn up as on form Sky struggled match KAVC who were in dismissing mood from the first serve.

Again without head Shilla Omuriwe on the bench the five time league winners turned to Edward Bwenje in the dugout who guided the side to a 3-0 win over Sky.

Much as Sky’s reception led by Emma Kato and Katberth Malinga in the first set was slightly on point, breaking down KAVC’s defense was a tall order, they narrowly lost the first set25-22.

Nicholas Dheyongera, Malinga and kato were tasked by setter John Bosco Opendi to pick points but KAVC’s cover led by libero Emma Elanyu and Joel Endra also upset their attacks.

Jacob Olila, Matthew Mwenyi also combined well with their setter Amon Ainebyona as KAVC won the second and third sets 25-21 and 25-23 respectively

KAVC have won four so far out of the five games they have played while Sky have won two and lost two.

In the ladies, Vision Volleyball Camp also lost 3-1 to Nkumba university ladies, which was their second loss of the season
