The Kabaka of  Buganda Kingdom Ronald Muwenda Mutebi is set to appeal against the court order to avail the registration details and bank accounts of Buganda Land Board.

Male Mabirizi petitioned court challenging the Buganda kingdom land registration and charging money.

Yesterday High Court ordered the Kabaka to produce bank statements of all the money the Mengo administration has collected from people living on the kingdom land.

Justice Patricia Basaza ordered the Kabaka to present particulars of all the kingdom’s mailo land returned by government, bearing name of county, block and the plot numbers.

Now the kingdom’s Attorney General Daudi Mpanga says they cannot reveal details of the bank accounts saying they have a right of privacy.

He revealed that they have instructed their lawyers of Kalenge Bwanika , Kimuli and Company Advocates to file a stay of execution of the court order and appeal to the higher court.
