A bar in Kampala’s red light district, Kansanga caught fire on Wednesday morning.
Uganda Police said online: “There is a fire at Casablanca Bar and Restaurant in Kansanga. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.”
“Although we understand people are curious, fire areas could be dangerous, please stay away and allow the fire brigade to put off the fire.”
No injuries were reported.

On December 20, property worth billions of shillings was destroyed due to the fire outbreak at Muggies Bar in Mutungo, Nakawa Division this afternoon.
Witnesses say the fire broke out due to sparks from the welder who was doing some renovations on the bar premises.
