Former Ibanda South MP and Uganda’s ambassador to Belgium Deo Rwabita died last night, Uganda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed.
After losing his MP seat to Eng. John Byabagambi in the 2001 elections, a close ally of President Yoweri Museveni, Amb. Rwabita has served as in a number of ambassadorial positions in Rome in Italy, Cyprus and the European Commission.

He will be buried at Kyaruhimbi, Nyabuhikye in Ibanda district on a yet to be announced date.
